Good Morning everyone. Lady Eleanor back with you again for my penultimate challenge.
I’m glad the scoring was higher last week as I was beginning to think that I wasn’t on anybody’s wavelength. It’s interesting that the most popular answer was ‘exercise bike’. This could prove useful after all the wining and dining at Christmas!
I’m not really a cinema person as I sometimes find the whole experience quite irritating. People slurping juice, munching popcorn and worst of all, constantly rustling sweet papers. And that’s even before the film begins! But recently I made an exception when I read about two very different films which have received positive reviews by the critics. I’m sure you are all familiar with the storylines of 'Philomena' and 'The Butler'. Excellent acting in both films and no doubt there will be nominations for awards. Some of you, myself included, may be looking forward to the two hour special of Downton Abbey on television on Christmas Day. I hope you will all have a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to setting you my final challenge after the big day. Until then, take care and good luck with this week’s links.
Just got back from major shopping expedition to buy curtain material and paint for my daughter's new bedroom. Next job is to make the curtains and paint the walls - not a quiet Christmas for me!! All the best to everyone on KM and MM links.
