Mm Links Results January 2014 Week 1

It is back to normal after all the excesses of the festive period and I wish everyone a productive 2014.

The first MM Game of 2014 has just ended and I can now reveal that 'The Lady Radley' (aka Handbaglady) had chosen the following links:

PAPER BAG
LODE STONE
GRAND PIANO
UNDER STUDY

It turned out to be a bit of a toughie. Three of those links had only a single taker so thank goodness the fourth one proved more popular.

Roslyn251254 led the pack once again and claimed the popular link of GRAND PIANO. The musical quartet of rockfordill, deecee131, middlestump and kawakiri were right on her heels for 2 points each.

Second player, Boxtops, despite wasting a guess with a 9-letter word, was able to find her way to 2 points by using a LODE STONE.

Then a little later at 9:20, Ulysses100 showed a preference for the recyclable PAPER BAG (2 points)

So what about the elusive 4th link? Players and guesses came and went but eventually, late on Saturday afternoon, SHAZZA had a theatrical inspiration when she realised that all top players have an UNDER STUDY.

There were no multiple hitters, so the Hotshot is awarded for finding that elusive 4th link.

I've been so busy for the last couple of days that I didn't get a chance to enter this week, but having just seen the answers I'd have only got the popular Grand Piano anyway. Hopefully next weekend will be more relaxing and give me time to enter.
