What Daft Things Did You Do In Your Youth That You Would Never Do Now?

I joined this site as I wanted to know the answer to how to level a garden lol. However to my horror I remembered this was a site I used to come on when I was just 17 under the username 'sexy Russian' and I would write some complete rubbish mainly to wind people up and at one point caused quite an upset to the site. Luckily I grew up pretty quickly and so there is no trace of my daft behaviour anymore and any members who witnessed it are well gone. Thankfully I stopped posting when I turned 18. I look back at other things I did in my youth and simply cringe. What are you most cringe worthy moments from your youth? I'm only 25 now so not exactly old but married with a child and a million miles from the lonely teenager

Hi boo. I don't remember any of what I did and would rather not be reminded if that's okay. I have selectively removed it from my memory. There are some posts under the name 'sexy Russian' but they were just people pretending to be me and posting fake pics. Thankfully I wasn't daft enough to post pics of myself like so many naive teenagers. A lot of my daft decision ps were due to being lonely and when I made some fab new friends and eventually met my now husband things really looked up.

Rocky raccoon I've seen those posts but they are not from me. Obviously someone else wanted to carry on the name but I stopped after only about 6 months. I have had all my posts deleted although I know I posters carried on for quite some time pretending to be me. Not that that is really what this post is all about. Just interested to see what others have done that make them cringe. Surely I can't have been the only mixed up teenager. Lol

Boo it was about 8 years ago so I was almost certain no one would have a clue what I was on about. Didn't think anyone would remember. Pretty gobsmacked that ppl do! I joined this site after 8 years as its a great place to ask sensible questions and get a great answer and then I remembered my previous activity and cringed. Lol.

The list would be fairly long for me, but i had kids quite young, so it didn't last too long. It would be mainly along the party/drinking theme i think.

Pixie I think kids are brilliant at keeping you grounded and mature. Becoming a mum has been the best thing that happened to me. I currently have a 3 month old sleeping in my shoulder :-)

I remember when I was nineteen, listening to a local youth's chin solo about his souped up mini, which would 'beat anything on the road'.

Suitably challenged (folly of youth and all that!) I advised him I could get to te next pub or list which was five miles away, before he did, with my car carrying four passengers. bearing in mind that I was driving my dad's car - a Morris Marina, one of the worst cars ever built, and not known for its high-speed (or even low speed!) handling.

We made it, but not before careering down a city street at seventy miles an hour and going into a sideways spin as the backend refused to co-operate.

My adrenaline overdose was more than compensated for by the delight from the assembled pub crowd, and the relative silence about matters motoring from my opponent - at least in my hearing.

I am fifty-nine now, and still drive down that street every day, and occasionally remember my folly, and how I could have killed myself and friends, or some other innocent motorist.

Still felt good though!

Thanks stewey. Snags 8 years ago I was quite sexy but I've put on 2 stone since having my son so more fat than sexy at the moment I'm afraid
