Aaaarrgghh.... is the noise I made when I dropped the paint laden brush from the top of the stairs and watched it bounce on every other step on its way down..... :-(

Shirley Conran once said that life was too short to start stuffing mushrooms. I think it applies to decorating as well. Nobody ever died of not painting their ceilings every 2 years. You will find that after a year or two, that Brilliant White will fade into a very fetching cream colour, very fashionable these days. Also in the same frame is one of my favourite quotes from Quentin Crisp, a personal here of mine ::
