Good one, quinie
Wild Garlic quinie, I have it in the garden (nice answer btw)
Yes,probably I have. Some flowers have two names.eg,campanula I know better as Canterbury Bells. You don't see so many wild flowers now-used to see lots when I was out walking way back in my youth lol
42. Dandelion ( when we were younger we used to blow them When they went white. We used to call them dandelion clocks. )
Great fun,eh,guilliebrougues? We used to suck clover!!! We also played a game with Carl Doddies.
Mazie, now I know what ramsons are-thank you.
Just googled Carl Doddies-proper name is Ribwort Plantain
hi Quinnie, yes great fun. We used to suck clover and call it clover milk and see who could find the purple clover first. We also played marbles (shotties) Hopscotch, kick the can, cannon and even whip and top. Good old days eh! Oh I forgot, we used to have a skipping rope from one side of the road to the other and take it in turns to run in and out of the rope when our name was called in the rhyme (someone's under the bed etc.,)
