Leash/skulk

troop would be the most appropriate
Concise Oxford Thesaurus says Skulk
Can I suggest another?

A stink of foxes.
A skulk is a group of foxes

Wiki gives LEASH & SKULK
my book gives skulk
I've always used Skulk, Tuvok. Ignore Shoota....he's typing one handed today....he meant Skulk too....☺
You ever smelled 'em?
only from a distance :o)
A 'leash' implies a brace and a half (three) so if you are talking about more then 'skulk' is the way to go.

Or 'stink'.....

Not the first time I've got multiple answers for a quiz question!

I'm going to put them all in, but I'll opt for the majority one from here as my first answer.

I'll pick the majority one later this afternoon.
I'd discount 'leash' Tuvok as that can be applied to a brace and a half of many animals (hounds, deer, etc.)

I have, Shoota....but then I'm the one who loves sleeping under a duvet smelling of sheep...☺

Good luck, T.
I would go with Skulk

Skulk, 'cause it's what the murderous little beggers do!

Skulk seems to be the majority.
