My naturally sunny demeanour is being sorely tested today :+((

I've been doing loads of boring domestic admin, plus hoovering and sock/knicker washing.

And it's raining and cold

And my credit card bill hasn't been made up yet, so I'm delaying any retail therapy

And Mrs O is beating me at Scrabble

And the cricket from Bangla Desh is being ruined by abysmal commentary and worse pictures

... moan moan mutter mutter wibble wibble

you could have been washing your sick/knockers or soccer/nix, which would have been worse surely?

Clouds have gone and it's lovely now.

You're a gent to let Mrs O beat you at scrabble.

//And my credit card bill hasn't been made up yet, so I'm delaying any retail therapy //

So , dont you know how much you have spent on your credit card ?

nice sunny day here with a bit of wind, a pleasant round of golf and finish with an all day breakfast, that may explain the wind.
Gloriously warm sunny day here in Norfolk .Bit breezy but then it's always breezy here little or much .

I know exactly how much I have spent, Bazile - and pay it off every month.

What I meant was that if I wait a day or two until the bill has been made up, then anything I then buy will have the maximum length of free credit from Mr Barclay.
I know ,I know Dave ,feeling pretty much the same today, weather is horrible and my car is filthy and desperate for a clean. On the bright side(not the weather} we are off to our static on the coast tomorrow so the smell of sea air will cheer me up.Even better still a pint in the Admiral Ben Bow will do wonders.
If I show you my new piercings will that cheer you?.......☻
Did you get those piercings by accident when you fell on a rake? :P
Oooooo....that's you off the list of viewers young man!
I take it back! :)
sunny dave - Though I was the only one did that , silly as the spend id the spend but I do like to get a good long "borrow" from mr B too x

Think Bazile is feeling a tad bah humbug today.

Nearly Gin Oclock so you'll soon be smiling x
retail therapy done and dusted, unlike the house, who gives a s***. and it's dreary here, and flipping cold.
Dave...do you not find that if we get some lovely days early in the year it cheers us and you get on a bit of a high....but when it goes grey again it makes you down?
I do....I can get lost in the garden for a few days....where I'm happy.....then the weather sends me inside....and I grump....☺
why don't you get rid of your credit card and get debit - then you only spend what you have - I have never had one in my life (ie credit card) JJCon
or maybe...
Question Author
I also 'only spend what I have' - but a credit card is all but essential for some things.

Try hiring a car abroad without a credit card - virtually impossible.

I agree gness - I think I'm down today because I've had a few days out and about enjoying the sunshine & now we're back to grim/grey.
