e.g. to find all mp3 files on your computer simply run a search for *.mp3
If you want to move ALL of the files you find simply press Ctrl and A together (or go to File > Select All). If you only want a BLOCK of them, click on the first one and then hold down Shift as you click on the last one. If you want to create a COLLECTION of files to be moved, click on each one in turn while holding down the Ctrl key.
Once you've got all of the relevant files highlighted, right-click on one of them and select 'Cut' (or if you want to keep in their original place, as well as in the new folder, use 'Copy').
Go to the folder where you want the files to be located, right-click and select 'Paste'.

For pics there is this program that i used to use http:// www.dup licate- finder. com/pho to.html - it compares images rather than just filenames and prompts for whether you want to keep them both.
It was ok but there was another program that I preferred to use; however I've lost it from changing machines in the last few years and have no record of what it was called.
