Read a novel a few years ago, I think it was based around a village in Devon and it's tenants, they took the school children on a day trip to visit the Battle of Britain exhibition and they visited the skylone in London.

Any one know the title, does it ring any bells?

Thank you.

Festival of Britain rather than Battle of Britain? Skylon was one of the exhibits.

Sounds like The Bells of Burracombe by Lilian Harry.
