A few people seemed to enjoy doing the (non-cryptic) crossword I posted here last week, so here's another one.

As before, it was originally set for the guys down the pub. I got a text from one of them last night to say that he'd had to leave to catch his bus but, after 1¼ hours, they'd still had 4 clues left to answer. I can therefore confidently predict that Caran will complete it in no more than 20 minutes ;-)

Grid here:

Clues here:

Answers (if required!) here:

To print it out, right-click on the Tinypic image and select 'Copy'. Go to a blank Word (or similar) document, right-click and select 'Paste'. Then (because the image will almost certainly be too big) drag the top-left corner of the picture diagonally downwards until it fits the page.

Feedback (including moans) welcomed!

Thanks Svejk.

I'm hoping that ABers will tell me how easy they are, so that I can tell my mates how thick they are for struggling with them ;-)
mmm. I think I'd get on well with your mates.
I'll give it a go. Didn't do too badly with the last one. Was wondering though, if you'd think about keeping the answers for two or three days before revealing them.

A love of real ale helps, Svejk ;-)

Well you don't have to look at them until the end of the week if you don't want to, BB! (Let's hope that you don't get a power cut this week!)
you don't have to peek, bun. though I might have. ;)
Now there are four cells in a row in 6a without any crossing clues! *gasp* *heart attack*
Sorry to prick your faith in me Chris, I am still struggling. This is much harder than the last one, imho.
Just finished it. Really hard, took me 2 hours all together. Well done Chris, really taxed the brain cells.
