They can't get rid of me that easily!
I am feeling as weak as a kitten but I am so glad to be home with my family. I have spent a couple of hours this afternoon just sitting in the garden, glad to feel the sun and wind on my face.
All went well in hospital although I didn't realise the surgeon had a BOGOF offer on. Whilst removing the part of me he was supposed to remove, he accidentally ruptured my spleen so that came out too.
I remember very little about my birthday (7th May) thanks to morphine, ketamine and other drugs, but thanks to those of you who sent me best wishes for my birthday and all the get well messages. They were passed on to me by my lovely short, Irish, Guinness drinking friend, and they meant a lot and gave me a much needed lift.
And if you turn up without the bike, Dave?.... ;-)
Hey! Lovely to have you back....we were a bit worried about you you know... but don't let that go to your head. As you said...It may be all MrO has left of you the way you're going through body parts...☺
