We intend to use the Newhaven to Dieppe Ferry, leaving on a Wednesday 11.30am ferry, and coming back on a 17.00 ferry the following Monday. Can anyone tell me information regarding car parking, we have a price quoted of £4.50 per 24 hours but I think that is short term, and although there is mention of long term I cannot find the price nor any details.

"There isquote[ [sic] ]parking facilities just inside the port situated on the left hand side of the terminal building. Tickets can be purchased at the reservation desk in the terminal building and the charge is £4.50 per 24 hour period. Unfortunately you cannot pre-book spaces however it is very rare that the car park is full"

Sorry, I should have said that that's almost certainly the long-term rate anyway (which compares very well indeed with the rates at airports or Eurostar stations like Ebbsfleet, which are usually two or three times that - and £4.50 wouldn't even buy you an hour's parking in some central London car parks!)
