What Is "slow" An Acronym Of?

Hi Attended a speed awareness course today and the trainer said the word SLOW as a warning sign or painted on the road is an acronym... does anyone know what it is, as i cant remember?

i just googled it and saw "sharks lions and wolves" but seriously, the trainer did reel off the acronym and even said it was one, i was really impressed as it was something i had never knew before or heard of, but due to all the info they were throwing at us i forgot its meaning... lol

Well, I think that's daft! How can an acronym for slow be speed low observe warning? It just means slow. I think he/she dreamed that one up.

she said it with all good intentions and i think she was serious... from sitting through a very informative 4 hour course this morning, i thought it was quite impressive!!

I still think it's daft. An acronym is supposed to be a simple word that reminds you of something totally different. In fact, I think it's rubbish!
