WHY Is quiz and puzzle site full of crosswords do people nor see special crossword section........thank you rant over , deep breaths !

Because a lot of people see a crossword as - a Crossword Puzzle I suppose.

Q&P always used to be the heading which covered crosswords in the past - and I agree with Mamya, it is a sort of puzzle. Does it really matter?

When I come on to AnswerBank it is Quizzes & Puzzles that pop up, so if I am in a hurry I put my question there, at the end ~ its the answer that matters.

When they made Crosswords a separate Section about a year ago it took me at least 2 weeks before I twigged on that they were in different sections.

I couldn't agree with you more catswhiskas. I asked the same question some time ago and got a load of stick accusing me of being sanctimonious (polite word for it) . It's not that hard to figure out that if you want help with a crossword the best place to go is the crossword section---is it?

Yeah, but there's no incentive to post in the correct section on here or, rather, no disincentive not to post in the wrong section!

If you ask a crossword question in, say, Technology it will still get answered almost instantly.
