I assume that you mean here:
http://www.chambers.co.uk/word-wizard.php
I've never used it but I've just given it a go by entering 'c?m??et???' to see if it found 'completion', which it did (together with other possibilities). I then entered 'pocit' to see if it offered 'topic' as an anagram an again it worked. However I can see no way of finding definitions there.
For definitions you need to go here:
http://www.chambers.co.uk/word-wizard.php
(That also seems to be working for me).
My own preference is to have this program installed on my computer:
http://www.sequencepublishing.com/thesage.html
(It's largely what I use when compiling crosswords).
When we're desperate for solutions within our little Sunday night crossword-solving group, I use this:
http://oneacross.com/
but my boozing pal Reg prefers this:
http://www.crosswordsolver.org/
However my favourite place for word definitions has to be the Oxford English Dictionary website. A personal subscription costs a massive £258 per year but if you've got a library card from any UK public library you can get full access for free by simply entering your card number here:
http://www.oed.com/loginpage
I hope that something above might help you.
