Apart from nitro-glycerin type sprays for people with Angina, what other 'under the tongue sprays' are prescribed to people, and for what ailments/conditions?

Thankyou.

Thanks 237SJ, I can't link that to the circumstances (I'm rather pleased to say).

Thanks, sqad.......it looks like it could be the Vitamin B12 spray.

:o)
Of course the obvious one is ergotamine used as a sublingual spray for migraine......not sure if it's available in the UK.
Question Author
No, I rather think that the Vitamin B12 spray is the likely candidate.
O.K.
and Fenanyl sublingual is not available in the UK anyway.
fentanyl lollipops are though (ok not technically a spray, but same method of absoption)
The only one available in the UK is GTN spray. There are plenty of spray 'into the mouth' products, but GTN is the only sublingual one
PringlesQueen........exactly.....although we don't know if the person IS in the UK, but i presume that she is.

I can see very few therapeutic indications for giving B12 in other than injection.

Update : Apparently, it is a spray version of Stemetil.....
Ah! thanks for getting back to us.

I have heard of Stemetil NASAL spray, but not ORAL spray.
Buccastem is similar to Stemetil, but it is a tablet that dissolves in the buccal cavity of the mouth.
