always nice to hear of a win , won a d.v.d (disc) not machine
in my local rag ( sunderland echo ) all about how fantastic
sunderland were last season
bet they dont have the same comp. at the end of this season
at least we cant get beat till saturday

 its certainly worth doing local paper competitions this year I've won a stream train trip to scarborough was in premier class with 3 meals. also crossword �10 and two prizes this month . yesterday had �20 for Daily mail crossword this is an excellent site for crosswords and the sunday ones with the big prize would be great to win as you say happy comping.

well done beerbelly. It's a great feeling to win a comp and is an incentive to keep on doing them. I won 100 pounds with the crusader crossword in the daily express in june and have won small prizes in my local paper (bolton evening news).I hope your season gets better and believe you have a good manager in mick McCarthy.It's always hard to survive in the premiership in the first season.As a bolton fan, we have had some great games against sunderland and believe the north east deserve 3 teams in the premiership. I would imagine you will be happy with tonights result!

I've had success with competitions in my local paper in the last couple of months.  I've won two sets of tickets for Derbyshire CCC matches, one a Twenty20 match and one is a Floodlit Totesport Match next month.
