The correct clue is
"which singer/ group had a hit with Dreaming".
The song doesn't have to be a number one. The answer is Glen Goldsmith even though I don't remember it as a hit

I assume from the related posts below that these a from the same quiz and the answers are jobs etc.
The best I can see for Q1 if it a no. 1 hit is
Bobby Darin- Dream Lover [with Bobby being a job] but I am not convinced.
I think further clarification needed from Nid1.

I didn't work it out- I decided to search on AB to find the proper clue and found smurf had answered Glen Goldsmith in June.

I think Q2 isn't actually a question- it's just an instruction for questions 2-7

Blondie did get to no 2 in 1975 but no use for a job ( an old Rock music book I came across had it in)
