Just came in and had a fantastic convo about the end of the world.

So how do you think it will end?

A-Asteroid impact/or after effects
B-Super Volcano
C-Global Warming
D-Alien Attack
E-Manmade virus Ie.Zombie virus
F-World war 3
G-Disease
H-Solar Storm/Sun getting too close or some other space thing which isn't an asteroid
I-Couldn't give a care in the world as long as it doesn't happen in my lifetime
J-Other (Please state)

Please don't just put the letter and type the whole thing and the reason why you think this as it means everyone going back to see which one you picked.


Maybe a little morbid but it's a real possibility.

Will be a combination, Hen....climate change will help spread diseases for which we are not prepared enough.....despite the warnings....

War is looking likely.....our future is in the hands of mad men....

When I was at school I was taught that, as the world was about to end, Ireland would sink beneath the waves to save the people of Ireland from a fiery demise.....couldn't see the benefit myself....

F, although I don't think it will end the world, I do think Britain will suffer an attack which will be worse than 9/11

"J". We, obviously, will never know the exact reason for the end of the World. It will be up to Charlton Heston, after discovering a significant clue buried in the sand, to reach back in time and search for clues leading to the demise of civilization as we know it.

H I suppose but as Flabadob said the earth will only end as the solar system dies- or are you counting the world ending when human life dies out. Making something sentient extinct is actually pretty hard, so I'm still going with H- when the solar system dies and the sun become a Red giant and does through it's 'death' process- but when that happens we will have already evolved possibly unrecognisedly and cleared off somewhere else, but even if haven't then as we perish we just become something anyway, and that's not for about another 7 billion years at a rough guess.

J. I believe the Americans are watching the increasing power of China with mounting dismay. Some time in the not too distant future they'll look for a casus belli and launch a nuclear attack on them. Their plan will backfire and we'll all be plunged into a nuclear winter.
We're doomed, I tell you. Doomed.
