My opinion? Well, I wouldn't have one ! Not handy for Tesco shopping !

Can't have been very stable. The centre of gravity will have been very high. In addition, they were fixed wheel, so you had to keep pedalling. That huge front wheel will have taken the rider forward over 15 ft for every turn of the pedals, so I'd imagine you could get up to quite a fast speed, with all the concomitant problems when you fall off or hit somebody or something.
