Does anyone know the cat's name and how to operate the safe? Also how to move the car?  Help please

pollyfrance. could you tell me how you start to play this game please I downloaded the bar and have lots of symbols now on laptop and had email from my msn email address to start playing game but beyond me where do I start ? there's 3 photos come up would be very grateful for advice please. pega, I don't have the toolbar as I only run windows 98. Did you get into the detectives office? Where did you find the photos, and who are they of?

Hello Pollyfrance I have windows XP and had an e mail about this came so pressed register and downloaded the toolbar there is 3 pictures one an office,  two .a house with a car outside. 3 a ransome note

what do you do next Please to start search ??? as you seem to have got pass this stage help grateful

I've left some notes in your office including statements  from the four suspects the son daughter butler and gardener.so get down there and get on the case. We need your help detective.

To find the cats name you have to move the car. Make sure you have the car keys from table by old lady. There is a carrot stuck in exhaust of car which must be removed now you can select keys and move car. When car is moved explore mud, your shoes will get muddy. Go back to your office and pick boots up by door, they will go to your inventory, examine them and get cat collar from bottom. Every player gets a different name mine was snowy. Whatever yours is is the combination for the safe-. letters=numbers system, i.e A=1, D=4.

Pega, go to MSN homepage, click on the game and register to enter, you will then be taken to the detectives office

thanks slinki, have the keys for the car but can't get them to work, also had to use MSN crossword search to access the solicitors and charity on the detectives PC as don't have the toolbar. Where do I find my password and 72 digit code??

The solicitors password is dow4ger, there is no 72 digit password. When the pop up appears asking for password move the pop up box aside and there will be another website underneath. Click on it and save as, now it should be in your inverntory. Hope it helps.

Hey every one have been doing this game has taken me weeks so far, but to move the car pull the carrot out of the exhaust, the cats name is Wuffy, when you move the car step in the mud under the car then go back to the office and the inspector will take off his shoes inspect the shoes and the cat collar is on the bottom with the name on it, to un do the safe you need to type the cats name in to it using the alphabet, ie: 1=a, 2=b and so on. Hope this helps Pollyfrance.

Anyone else who is just starting yes we all got that email saying thanks for taking up the case, you need to download the web tool bar, then go to the bit that says register, and the game will begin, go through all the rooms picking everything up and examening it, to do this you just need to left click your mouse over items on the screen!

To every one you have to really think like a detective it is not obvious where the clues are, use what the detective says as help, also click on objects and then click in the old lady to see what she has to say about things.

I have completed the game it was well fun, what youhad to remember is the information changes every time you enter the game, so is no point really telling each other too much detail! But good luck finishing anyway!
