Belated Thanks

To all of you who wished me a happy birthday on here last Saturday. I have only just seen it. As I don't come on here too often anymore, I didn't expect Anyone to remember.

But I do remember, and always will, how lovely you have all been to me in the past, with one crisis or drama or another. :-)

Thanks you. I had a wonderful birthday weekend. Nostalgia, naffness, singing, laughing (a few tears). A good meal and lovely sentiments.

I got a kiss from Les McKeown ( I never really liked him, I liked Alan) and got asked out afterwards by the keyboard player. I declined. Reluctantly. We got backstage cos Lil's son is the artistic director of the theatre. It was so funny - Lil was so starstruck (she fancied Les, back in the day) she shook his hand and said "pleased to meet you" like the Queen.
The keyboard player offered to do an arrangement of an old Scottish ballad for my daughter to walk down the aisle with next August, as she is marrying a Scot. I thought that was a nice offer.
