Just looking at your user name. I remember little sweets called Mojos, similar to Blackjacks.

Oh yes Black Jacks Mojo's and fruit salads, all in the Penny mix.

The sweet shop outside our school used the have the penny tray and the ha'penny tray, from which you made your selection. I remember asking my mother before going to school if I could have a penny for some sweets. She agreed, but on opening her purse she said, "I'm sorry, I haven't a penny, just 3d or a ½d. Here's a ½d!
