All those names are Members of the National Assembly for Wales. All listed p 222 and also p224. BUT I can't work out how the numbers fit in. None of the Joneses minus any of the Thomases equals one. Can you get any further? It is the last question I am stuck on.

Got it! p. 222
In the list of members of the National Assembly for Wales there are four Jones and three Thomases. Thomases from Jones equals one. There's one George and one Gregory so they equal two! Simples! Previous idea too convoluted but it put me on the right path. Shall we share the winnings or blow it on a good meal? Ha ha. Happy New Year.
