Swimming In A Pool With Vaseline On

I'm currently in training for a Swimming competition, sometimes when I swim I get arm rub. If I was to put a small amount of Vaseline on my arm would it affect the water in the pool. Basically I don't want be swimming and seeing the water behind an oily plumage colour. I know this is a strange question. Thanks

I would check this with the organisers of the competition.

The competition isn't for a while. I only want to use the Vaseline in training, purely to stop the arm rub.

Then check with whoever is in charge of the pool.

Actually vasaline is mostly useful in winter season. to get rid of infection of water of swimming pool, I think it would be better if you use any coconut oil.
