Hi, new to this so please be gentle...I have been given a quiz to complete. There is a mixture of cryptic and anagrams. The answers are places around the coast of the UK.
1. See the navy by the oak (9)
2. Wealth source (12)
3. Smokies home (8)
4. Is this a female prison? (9)
5. Sweet smelling mountain (8)
6. This before entering (7)
7. Chaste women (7)
8. Could have been a window cleaner (6)
9. Was this home once our leader? (7)
10. Test of a good blade (9)
11. Porcine water (6)
Personally I wouldn't have though Dornoch for no. 6 - but if the quiz originated in England, then because of English pronounciation of "och" as "ock"....
Scottish pronunciation is as it is spelt, closest it rhymes with is cough
