MAIN COURSES
1. phonetic dried corn stalks are rotting!
2. 18th century dandy with receptacle of a thistle head (macaroni ?)
3. alone, gold, drink around renegade
DESSERTS
1. soft indian coin, over the top in calcium

According to my Chambers Dictionary - cheese is a receptacle of a thistle head. One learns something new every day. I have also learned today that I should dine out more in order to study menus.
