Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Re Double Dilemma quiz which you helped with.

The Answer given to "The Eagle landed this author big movie rights deal" was Frederick Forsythe. I can't tie that one up. Thought it was Day of the Jackal.

The other "Central Asian deserters have a long way to walk" was Kara Kum Haven't heard of that either but thought you would like to know.

Fredeerick Forsythe also wrote "The Eagle Has Landed" (big film with Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood)

Kara Kum is a desert (means Black Sand - AKA Garagum, name of 2 deserts in Central Asia)

Alistair MacLean wrote the script, which was later converted into a novel.
Can find no reference to an "Eagle has Landed" film starring Clint Eatswoord & Richard Burton

Fibonacci - sorry - my mistake completely - my mind has been wandering a lot today, but I was thinking of Where Eagles Dare, which you are right, seems to have nothing at all to do with Frederick Forsythe.

The Eagle has Landed featured Michael Caine leading a plot to assassinate Churchill, also starred a host of people like Donald Sutherland, Jenny Agutter, Larry Hagman.

Thanks for letting me know, quizling. Frustrating about Forsyth - the clue definitely seemed to suggest it was the author of Eagle has "landed"!!

And I've learnt something with Kara Kum.
