Youngest Junior Overall and his best friend (both 15) had the day off school today for the Tour de Yorkshire. They have had their eyes on a pair of young ladies and have spent the day with them. I have tried to keep up with the conversation the two lads have just had but it was hard work. (Did you know that you don't "chat someone up" these days.....you "graft"?)
Anyway, one of the girls apparently has a traditional name and the other is called...CoCo. Yes, I know Coco Chanel was sophisticated, but all I could think about was another Coco. The lads both got huffy when I asked if she had oversized feet and wore a false red nose.
The name just doesn't sound right...particularly when said with a Yorkshire accent.

maybe she has a face that resembles a mug of hot chocolate
Probably because she did have.

Graft eh ? Sounds fitting. It was always hard work to impress and obviously easier on the gender that had to be impressed instead.

Or has a complexion like a certain cereal? lol
Aw, come on mrs_overawesome, you move in the same circles! x
You just beat me to it excelsior-1. I was just going to say there is also the cadburys cocoa in a mug!
>>>The lads both got huffy when I asked if she had oversized feet and wore a false red nose

If you'd misheard it as 'cocoa' they'd have probably got all embarrassed when you asked them if they thought that she ought to served up hot at bedtime ;-)
LOL Chris
There's a CoCo down here, two of them in fact, both linked to the caffs I use. The first one is now six and a real character, her Mum having been the owner - Mum is French and speaks with a Derbyshire accent.

The second one co-runs a coffeeshop that is combined with a rather unusual gift store - she has the loudest laugh that I have ever heard on anybody - a Masters in Sociology underpinning her half-madness!
Oldies' humour just isn't understood by the modern generation. Still, it's their loss.
Leave them alone they're...Alright

They are young, they run free, keep their teeth nice and clean
See their friends, see the sights, feel alright
They wake up, they go out, smoke a fag, put it out
See their friends, see the sights, feel alright
