There seems to be some people on here 24/7
Can well understand how people can get addicted to internet sites, twittering away and updating their status on facebook and checking emails and posting on AB. If I were on broadband (im on a dongle) I think I would spend a lot more time on here myself, it IS a bit addictive.
But away from the computer what else do you do in your spare time?
For the past 3 years Ive been a single bloke and as most of you know have been through a few troubles in that time but now am starting to think that I want to broaden my horizens. I always find people on here fascinating and diverse and I learn a lot from all of you. So I am curious, how do you fill YOUR spare time?
Thank you.
I have dogs and other pets, I garden, do various crafts, a bit of DIY, read. I am also in the middle of the world's biggest declutter and house sort out.
Oh sorry, meant to say, I wouldn't recommend it. The hours are terrible and the clothes bill is horrendous. On the plus side, the freezer's always full.
2 to 3 hours of dog walking per day, jobs around the home, sort out any problems with our rental properties, restoring a vintage Merc. sort the meals at least 3 days a week, dip into AB when passing Lappy.
The usual cooking, cleaning, tidying, food shopping, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, writing, helping out with grandchildren, some TV watching, emails, AB, going to the theatre, walking, cross stitching, more reading, talking to grandchildren, trying to learn a new language, oh, did I mention reading?
To be fair nailit they do spend a fair bit of time kipping when they get the chance' the walking as much for me as for them, out about 05:30 then again anytime after 20:00.
Mainly housework cooking, cleaning etc. Reading, crosswords, cross stitch, family research I'm still trying to work out how to present the stuff I've found, and AB,FB and e-mails. I'd like to travel more but I need our money for the house we've just bought.
