Would appreciate some help with these, please.
1. there are 3 sets of P's, 3P's in the first 2 sets and 4p's in the third, each set becoming smaller, viz: PPP ppp pppp so it is not the usual 3 piece suite.

2. E EEEEEEE - could this be movies?

3. DEARTHUG - could this be Death in a rug? or a darling hooligan?

4. CANbErra - actually this is all in capitals but CANE is in bold

mallyh - the P's are in a row but diminishing in size so they seem to be disappearing into the background, and thank you for your other suggestions. Still need to think on these

mallyh - no, the viz: does not come into it. Viz means "like this"
juliaorm - thank you for those ideas, I think parties is more likely than eighties, otherwise why have the gap. There is no theme to the quiz, so could be 'ease off' as suggested above. Still really stuck!
