Time Warp?

I was lead to believe it is the second of July today,but walking down our local high street today I saw a large blackboard today outside the butchers shop saying "Join our Christmas Club today!" , then i strolled into the 99p shop and they had boxes of Cadburys Cream eggs!
Am iI in a time warp? LOL.
I was sure it was July!!!
