Colours Of The Rainbow

I seem to be stuck on three - all have colours in their answers:

half hardy plant (7 letters)
colour, number (a group) (6,4 letters)
Sir Isaac Newton introduced this colour in the 1660's to his spectrum (6 letters)
Can anyone help with these three please?
