Police prejudice against Gypsies is well known and is found throughout the police force not just the Met ! This has just made it public.

Agree with Eddie. lets see what the fake anti-racist have to say about this discrimination, especially the brainwashed who only consider racism is about skin colour.

Despite being brought up to trust the police I have now very little respect for them .. I think that their reputation has already been damaged by a variety of cases of bad behaviour .... I am sure that this case, should it be proved to be true, will just add to the general distrust that many people have of the police force.

The Police are there to represent everybody, not just a small strata of society. After all the years since the death of Stephen Lawrence, it seems the Met still have a long way to go.

Any serving Policeman found to be making these kind of remarks should be sacked.

We all have our own private thoughts whether it relates to morals or making judgments about people for example. There will be numerous occasions when such views are incompatible with professional life. To turn private thoughts into public is a dangerous game.

If officers have brought the force into disrepute they should face transparent disciplinary proceedings and where proven, the stiffest possible sanction.
