You and a friend arrive in the Infinite hotel full of infinite rooms and infinite rooms. How does the reception manager guarantee you an empty room?

If the food is infinitesimally good that means it's not very good though so I won't go as I love a good cooked breakfast

When you have settled into a hotel room the last thing you want is to have to move.

I assume that this is all hypothetical - or maybe the are talking about the incredible expanding hotel of the future.

i still don't get the answer ...why not just to an empty room ?

For one thing, mallyh it would take too long to get there if it's infinitely far down the corridor.
I must admit I've never been sure why the problem is considered a paradox.
