Good morning everyone - a bit chilly again but could be a decent day, at least the wind has dropped .... now to pick up all the debris !!

My goodness, and I think I could add some more wins ....the KM links have been going since 2006 so I'll check and update !!

Hi seekeerz,
I have counted a win even if the top spot was shared. Lysander was way out in front with 21. Next came cliffyg with 8, then surprisingly me with 6, followed by Mrs E on 5 and then wickedtongue, cpfcrosie and tearinghair with 4.
This of course, is only from January 2008 when I first entered. Be interested to know of others from 2006 to 2008

Hi x-ray ... Sorry it's taken a while but trawling thru all the past archives took longer than expected ...in fact I must go back and do it again !

So far I've found a win December 2007 and also I saw another where Lysander tied with sarumite in an earlier game but since haven't found it again !

Amazing the number of people who are still with the group after all this time and also those who have left us, and then the nonsense that went on with it all.

Very different style as well and making head or tail of my scoring takes some doing ... Goodness how things change and yet I'd have sworn I've been doing the same thing ever since I took it on !!

As you say quite amazing the people still in the links game also some of the names which have disappeared.

It's an amazing record isn't it ....I'm sure Lysander is able to channel Kate, for quite a while I was convinced she WAS Kate, bu t she assures me it's just a bit of magic (what colour magic I'm not asking !)

I believe the magic took a bit of a dent after some surgery a while back but every so often she plays an absolute blinder which leaves me in awe !!

Yes I miss the shrubbery too, the nonsense back then ...well I doubt we would get away with it now, especially in Q&P .....Ab Editor doesn't like too much frivolity away from Chatterbank ...but those were the days !!

I have just seen your figures and can give no explanation to my wins Even before Crofter started the MM game I used to guess the link words and can still remember some of the unusual links Kate's father chose.It certainly is nothing to do with my computer skills.The only time I set the MM links Crofter had to come to my aid twice,another came out in bold and I managed one correct.I tend to go with what comes to mind first but groan when Kate goes with blue or green and opt for something I have seen,eaten or worn that week. That leaves the only explanation= the course I took in witchcraft and black magic is paying dividends!! Regarda Lysander
