Linear Upvc Window Profile?
0 Answers
We need to replace two of our upstairs UPVC windows. They are old, some sealed units have blown, but both only have an opener on one side, meaning they cannot easily be cleaned - one cannot easily be accessed by a ladder, so prefer to be able to clean the outside from in the room.
We've had two quotes from well established local firms. One use a profile called Linear Energy Plus and the other Profile 22. They look similar. Does anyone know anything about either, and is one better than the other. Years ago some UPVC used to go grey but hopefully they are all much better now. I know the quality of the fitting is as important as the profile, but I'd like to choose the best (that I can afford). Both companies offer much the same in all aspects - 28mm Argon Gas filled sealed units. One uses Yale Shoot Bolts, not sure about the other. All help appreciated. Thanks
