Yes it is straight forward

whats the colour of the tube line that Tottenham court road is on?  if its green then the answer could be green, as Regent Street is green on a monopoly board and you can buy your greens at Covent garden Market???

Another truly dubious answer from me!!!!

Answer is 'Yellow' (Monopoly Board).  Yes, on the earlier boards Regent Street used to be green but was changed to yellow in later versions.

...except Covent Garden isn't on a Monopoly board!

Thanks for all your help and it has lead me to the answer, and as you say it is straight forward, just a matter of keeping up to date!!!!!!

Hi Quizmonkey  -  Covent Garden features on the new Monopoly Board, priced at 2.6m, together with Tottenham Court Road also 2.6m and Regent Street, a bargain at 2.8m. All coloured yellow.  Mayfair, would you believe, has vanished!  This is the 2005 official Monopoly 'Here and Now" Limited Edition, launched earlier this year.

Well, well Johnalex - I had no idea! Apologies for my answer. I still associate certain streets with colours when I'm in London, and Regent Street will always be green in my mind...

No worries Quizmonkey  -  Heathrow Airport, London Eye, Wembley &  Wimbledon all for sale, using 500 notes!  Check out the full board (drag mouse pointer over squares):
