Can anyone explain these please - in what was generally a very easy puzzle:

11ac Stupefy with gamble taken over shipping order (6) Presumably BESET, but what does the abbreviation ES or SE inside BET stand for in shipping lingo?
26 ac George is fit to be the King (5) G-B-E. Presumably GABLE - but why?

11a Besot - 'bet' (over; round) 's(hipping) o(rder)'
26a G-able - Clark, known as "The King (of Hollywood)"
Be s(hipping) o(rder) t
G able - Clark Gable, the 'King of Hollywood.'
G(george) + able(fit) Clark Gable was known as The King.

Ah - thanks for the correction both; BESET pretty nearly fits the definition too. Thought of Clark Gable, but the only entertainment king I could think of was Elvis.
