Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Has anyone else won the Mephisto crossword recently?

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a Whitakers Almanak in the post today, but a bit disappointed that its a 2013 edition - the same edition that I won about two years ago.

I now now display them side by side!!

I'm wondering if they've put in some kind of standing order years ago but never updated the details of the order.

You can buy old editions like this one on Amazon for basically just the P&P.

I can't argue - I've won the runner's up prize of £20 (which I really want to win) a few times.

The irony is that if you 'win' you get the Whitaker's ('worth' £50 - to whom, I ask myself??) but if you are a 'runner-up' you get £20 in hard cash. I know which I would rather have...(though I feel sure that I won a 2014 Whitaker's last year so I think you've had a particularly raw deal!)

Mine (2013 and 2014 editions) went to the charity shop. I haven't felt their loss.
