/// This has led to British families inundating charities with offers to house incoming Syrian refugees, a move also taken up by politicians such as Labour MP Yvette Cooper and Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, as well as celebrities such as Bob Geldof. ///
It will be interesting to see how these 'refugees' settle in with their celebrity hosts, I wonder how many Cameron will be taking in at no 10 and Chequers?
/// Mrs May also revealed today the Government’s newly-appointed Minister for Syrian Refugees, Watford MP Richard Harrington, would be holding a meeting with charities and aid organisations over the coming weeks over how best to harness the British people’s desire to help. ///
Don't you think it would have been a better idea to short all this out, before the arrival of these 'immigrants'?
/// Earlier this week, Mr Cameron visited refugee camps in both Jordan and Syria from where he ordered Britons to offer a “warm welcome” to those people the UK would be taking from such camps. ///
So you have now been 'ORDERED' so don't forget it, offer them a warm welcome won't you?

Why are the above people not offering accommodation to British homeless off the streets of UK? The pictures on last nights news of hordes of people trying to storm Hungary was not a pretty picture. Side note: UK comes in for a lot of stick on this subject. Why no praise for the almosr i billion of aid we have given to the camps in Turkey?

2nd item down under "september 2015"
as the writer says, it's all very well seeing it on the news, you have to be there to see what it's really like. the writer uses words ruder than "bottom" so careful if offended by robust language.

'Ordered' is not what what David Cameron did. It is the Daily Express's interpretation, not shared by most other commentators. The PM saying we should make them welcome, is not an order, it is a suggestion.
// The PM said he wanted to 'make sure we discourage people from making this dangerous journey to Europe but instead we take people from these camps and we make them welcome in the United Kingdom, in our country.
We make sure there are homes for them to go to, schools for their children, a warm welcome in Britain. //

After viewing Frontline Fighting on C4 yday, the fit Syrians should be defending their country instead of causing mayhem in EU (to which people from non EU countries have no rights).
