Many thanks Jackdaw33, and SirOracle, for your extremely speedy answers.
A variation of this was doing the rounds forty years ago. If you answered all the questions correctly the total came to exactly £20. I cut it out of the newspaper and kept it for years but have now lost it.

The few I can remember are:

A poorly celaphod (£6 six quid)

type of pig (guinea)

Clip round the ear (4d one)

Bicycle (penny farthing)

Bisected underwear (10/6 half a nicker)
Sorry, that should have been 10s, not 10/6d
