Telegraph Free Articles Limit?
24 Answers
Every time someone posts a link to a 'Daily / Sunday Telegraph' item, I click on it only to get a warning 'You have reached your free articles limit' and a blacked out page. Is it only me? and is there a way round it?

The only way that the Telegraph website knows that you've already looked at some of its pages is through the cookies that it places onto your computer. Simply clear your cookies and the problem will go away.

I was looking for the link about the man who had his ears cut off to look like a parrot, but the Daily Wail has the story

If your browser has a "PrivateWindow" i.e. a browser window that does not retain web page visit details (Safari or Firefox, Chrome has an "Incognito Window") then use this and the limit is never reached as no visit details are saved, no need to clear cache after. I assume recent IE would have the same capability but I don't have IE to check
Sugar! It seems the Telegraph knows I'm on its site. I start with a New Private Window, fine. Then the page clears and re-loads and the Cookie warning is back again. As I said, Sugar.
I don't want to clear Cookies as I lose too much stuff I need and takes me ages to find it out again.
Any ideas anyone?

You don't have to delete all of your cookies. You can go into 'Details' and just remove those from specific websites:
