92 Busby
28 Saline (fife)
8 Thought it was an anagram of Moscow (in Ayrshire) but only 6 letters
63 Tomich -in the clue
19 Embo -in the clue
32 Aint is anagram of TAIN where there is a Glenmorangie Distillery.
8 A well known breed of cows is AYRSHIRE.
59 Could this be CATRINE, Catherine without 'her'
43 Sounding the same, Mull in Scotland is a promonotory - a rise in the ground - a hill. In Lanarkshire there is Berryhill, a different type of Mulberry ?
Not happy about 59 and think instead that uninhabited Rockall is stony silent.

thanks davemano,32. i thought of tain too, but i have it as an answer to 52. CON[TAIN]ED WITHIN.
Hazel - I still think that 32 is saying that Aint is not a distillery, but Tain is.
For 42 I suggest 'contained within' could be prisoners in Fort William prison.
sorry, I meant 52 not 42.
Question Author
thanks for that Dave, i see what you mean about contained within.
Hazel - one final suggestion, 'confined within' could relate to Keep which is an inner part of a castle. Huntly Castle is now used as a prison.
