I've become quite the master of (cheddar) cheese scones, if I say so myself. I use half a teaspoon of mustard powder. Very nice they are too.
But has anyone any fresh ideas about 'spicing' things up. Different types of cheese? Something other than mustard powder? How about dried bacon bits, anyone tried something like that?
Svejk, send some my way. I LOVE cheese scones especially made with VERY strong old moustrap. I always put more than a half tsp of mustard powder in my mix. I also used up some left over cambazola in the mix once. Lovely !
Don't ya mean Cordon Ramsay? Dulce is sweet in pedro and Mrs Patmore. Cook in Downton Abbey.
Please dont regail us on your next project Cheese Puffs. You will cause a riot.
