Would fit, yes, but what I don't understand is, that all the other answers were found with just a little research, or I found the answers within a few days. These two questions caused us a problem so I have tried to simplify my searching...but still nothing else. The quiz has to be posted tomorrow so I shall probably go with your idea if you don't mind? The 'muddled mischief maker' question 44 I will have to leave blank I think!?

Leecon - this answer was easy to find once the full contents of the rules were known. They had not been explained fully as shown by the example under the main heading ie. Known name and real name.

Couldn't sleep thinking about it. I'd been looking for muddled mischief maker at face value. Looked up synonyms for mischief maker - only one suitable was rascal. Looked up synonyms for muddled - came up with woolly = woolly rascal. googled that and came up with Shaun the sheep (5 and 5) so looked to see if Shaun the sheep had a 7 letter middle name. No he hadn't. Still had a feeling for rascal so rechecked muddled saw a colloquial name for muddled was 'dizzy'. Then the penny dropped. I'd heard of a musician or rapper or DJ or someone called Dizzy Rascal so googled it and found Dizzee Rascal with a real name of 5,7,5 can't believe how easy it was in the end. Only hope Leecon sees my message before she posts her quiz.

YES Maisie, thank you for your miracle at 3.57am !! Gosh, I stay up late, but not that late ? I had got my letter all ready to post, was going to seal it as I had said, but something stopped me. I thought that I would go to bed thinking about it before I went to sleep - and hey ho, your message this morning so I was able to add it in, seal and post it off. THANK YOU so much, a real brain-wave. I had done synonyms but was going down the imp/minx/rogue line and getting no-where. I'm still not convinced with Q51 but THANK Davemano also for his help. It will be interesting to see whether the answer is correct or not. If Davemano hasn't actually done the quiz, I will put the two answers on here once we know them.Thank you again Maisie for sticking with me and helping me - it still amuses me that the others all went so quiet!!

Leecon- pleased you got it in time. It would have been awful if you had posted it first. I didn't stay up, I'd gone to bed as usual about midnight but I woke up in the night thinking about it so got my phone under the duvet (so as not to wake Hubby!) and tried again. Good idea to let Davemano know when answers are out - he's been really helpful. Well, now that's done - onto the next quiz!!

DAVEMANO and MAISIE DOATS, I hope you see this. I got my quiz back today and Q44 was Dizzie Rascal/Dylan Kwabena Mills. Q51 was The Stig/Perry McCarthy !! Either everyone knew it and didn't want to tell us, or everyone got it wrong? I haven't been given any results or winners yet. Anyway, thank you Davemano and Maisie for your help, I just got Q51 wrong... ...and thank you to all those who read this and got it right, for NOT helping us. I would like to remind everyone that these quizzes are for good causes and the more people who enter, the more money they make. Some people may not enter if they don't get all the answers, so by not helping you are depriving the charities of their monies.

I can see the point you're getting at there, but steady....I do a lot of charity quizzes each month and don't answer any queries because of feedback from quiz setters.

I was one of their number once and know how it feels.

I also failed to get 51 right , knew Dizzee from my first run through - one point I will make is that anyone who doesn't send quizzes back because they have a blank is losing the charity money - not those who fail to help.

I think the real point is , and furrypussycat made it earlier, some will ask repeatedly and seem to join in the concerted effort to track the elusive one down.

Leecon - thank you for the update which is nice to get, which unfortunately happens not often enough. Must say I would not have got the right answers for 44 and 51 - never heard of any of the names. However, we did our best and will continue to do so. Best regards D.

And those who answer on here and dont buy the quiz are losing the charity money too so there are two sides to every story
It's not the right attitude to say people wont enter it if they dont finish it as I presume you mean that is because they feel they have little chance of winning

smouse - certainly disagree with you comment - people from all over the country assist with answers and do their own charity quizzes so you remarks are really meaningless unless you mean that all persons answering should support the same quiz. That would or should result in everybody getting the answers, making for no competition.
