Can anyone help me in finding the significance of "tower" in some clues eg. Tower with red nose-7 letters. I think it is Rudolph but why?

I think the reindeer was Rudolf though, spudnick, and the tower (meaning one who tows) seems fine- it's a common cryptic misdirection

Yes I was reading it as tower - building not tower as in pulling. I have the same quiz so this has helped me too. thank you

I too, eventually realised tower wasn't a building but one who tows. Now I have found other reindeer names as answers.
