If it takes three cats three minutes to catch three mice how long does it take thirty cats to catch thirty mice?

I'm thinking three, but something is nagging away in the dark recesses of my big empty head.

30 minutes

3 mins
in 3 minutes each cat catches just one mouse, so 30 cats will catch 30 mice in the same time
Three.

It takes each cat three minutes to catch one mouse, regardless of how many cats there are.

It is a theoretical problem, in real life the cats would be too busy fighting each other for any real hunting to be carried out.

each cat takes 3 minutes to catch a mouse so 30 cats would take 3 minutes ?
