Unless you are into hamsters I cannot think who would have got Roborovski Hamster as the answer to your No3. So well done Mass_Hysteria! However there is no H in the clue so is this void as well?
I think 1. is ARKS and 2. is DOG KENNEL but I am not an expert on pets!
