Just No 13 left to answer. The longest railway tunnel in England is the Northern line (via Bank) between Morden and East Finchley stations. Is this in some way a trick question?

I've struggled for some time to get the last one and then suddenly realised that I used to live a few minutes walk from it!

Dore and Totley station is at one end of the Totley Tunnel, which is the longest mainline railway tunnel wholly in England.

Beaten by Chris! because I was going the long way round researching the answer. A poor question because most of the London Underground lines have longer tunnels as do the (fairly) recently completed High Speed and Crossrail lines.
